I've had the 3010 for over a year now and although it is low quality, my Son loves it and it is an amazing deal nonetheless. here are my observations:

1. Lots of the screws did not line up. Make sure you put them in loosely and you will still have to tweak them to get them in. Most of this is associated with the assembly of the legs and mating that to the top.
2. Be ready to go to your local hardware store for missing screws. We had 2 missing with the last desk.
3. The top is thin vinyl laminate and does not take heat well. When we moved him to college the top delaminated and completely bubbled in the heat of the moving truck. 24 hours in air conditioning and it returned to normal.
4. Height adjustment is hydrolic and is pretty smooth. Release lever is mounted with VERY small screws and will pull out. I sunk some larger screws in it after the first day. It's a bit awkward to pull the front lever and then grab the side to pull it up and down, but you get used to it.

Like it well enough to buy another today.

To answer a different question...the shelf won't support two monitors natively, but it's strong enough to clamp a dual arm to!
