Gross.

Not everyone needs high-end features; even having OLED is enough. B-series is perfect if you're the kind of person who only plugs in the cable/sat box and watches Supermarket Sweep during the week. When your buddies come over to watch football, it's a great TV.

For those who still use bedroom TVs, the B2 is great.

If you have more than two devices connected to your TV today (game consoles, Streaming 'sticks', surround sound system or sound bar, DVD/Blu-Ray player, etc), that's when you should look at the C series instead.
Super tempting but must hold off
Been in the market for a 65" oled, but this price almost seems worth settling for a 55"

I'm seeing $1100 plus tax at checkout for the 55 B2. Is it just me or is the Allstate warranty adds $100 more to the order, despite saying it's included in the $999 price? Or, am I missing something here?

Nothing is wrong with it. It doesn't have the same next gen panel as the C2 so maybe not as future proof and definitely not as bright but it's still a hell of a TV.

I paid $1800 for a 55" B7 when the 8 series were already out 4 years ago so this seems like a huge steal to me.

couple of downsides:
2 hdmi 2.1 port. you need 1 for earc (for surround) so that leaves you with one only.
never use the build in speakers. they are the worst I've heard in a decade
it have good SDR brightness at max but not that great for HDR content.

it is a big upgrade over the B1 though and depending on how much more is the C2.

yea sadly im seeing a $100 price hike to keep the warranty which should be "included" in the price. Wonder if this is a mistake on their end ?

They should get it fixed, but in the meantime, you can remove the $99 plan (TVs $1000+), and add the correct plan ($65... TVs $500-$1000) to the cart. It will then give a $65 credit, net @ $999.98.
Correct Plan: https://www.costco.com/.product.1575685.html

Edit: Costco has now updated with correct warranty plan...

Just curious: If I use the streaming credit, but return the TV to Costco within 90 days, will there be an issue? Obviously not going to do this deliberately, but I don't want there to be an issue if a good BF deal comes up and I'm already burning through credits. Thanks!
