Really like how Uber eats app lets me enter a code in the promotions sections and store it, see terms, exp., etc, without having to worry about using it immediately or test if it is valid or not.

I'm just too cheap, or perhaps poor to use delivery apps without some insane promo. I also prefer pickup option, understand delivery is nice for people who lack transport.

After fees and any sort of tip, you basically need 70% off for delivery or anything $10+ off that works for pickup.

Had 70% off Postmates email, after fees I was saving like $3 (with $5 tip left). Didn't even order, cheap eats at home can get me 5 meals for 1 out.

I'm inclined to say Ubereats sucks because they've cracked down on users by flagging payment sources so if your child or someone else wants to use your device to order Ubereats and they create an account using your phone or whatever, they won't get the first time user deal if they use your credit card/debit card/PayPal, etc. I know they have to make money but don't issue out promotes if people can use them when they quality and then act clueless when they reach out for support telling me how to apply promo when they know what's going on.
