This is the classic (their cheapest line) which is low quality. I like calphalon but only buy their pro line.
Absolutely no reason to get a nonstick "dutch oven." This is a crap product with no purpose.

You should only consider nonstick for certain situations... Eggs, fish, other delicates. It's arguable you don't even need it for those circumstances either. You should limit your exposure to PFOA etc. as much as possible.

Also I love how a staff post automatically has a shit ton of thumbs ups. Man I'm really considering leaving SlickDeals with all these ridiculous shill postings. No shame.
Pass. This is their lowest tier line.

Had a set of this line of Calphalon and they didn't last long. The nonstick didn't last long and it easily scratches. Before long, those scratches were rusting. It was great while it lasted. It had a nice weight to it compare to some cheap pans/pots our there.

A tracker shows the price averages $40+ and has rarely gone below $35. I wouldn't be surprised if this post was promoted but it seems to qualify as a deal, regardless. Possibly not an isolated opinion as I believe the last time it was posted it sold out quickly.

Personally I find benefit in non-stick when cooking most things when limiting fats. I avoid it for high heat uses that would damage it, like searing.

Sure there's ease of use benefits but you have to weigh that against risks of contaminating your food with substances that will stay in your body for your entire life. You have no idea what the long term effects will be for you and your family. Use avocado oil or similar "healthier" fats if worried about health from the fats themselves. Don't gamble with manmade substances that have historically caused horrible long term health issues. If you don't like reading research, and need a little more sensationalism, watch the movie Dark Waters from 2019 starring Mark Ruffalo.
