Correct me if I'm wrong, but probably the lowest price I've ever seen.

Yes, you can. You can also deactivate the license before formating or removing an app, or make an account on the Adguard official website and manage the license there, adding and removing devices.
I upvoted because it's a good price, but ultimately I didn't buy because you have to give them more access/permissions than I'm comfortable with. I recognize that I'm probably being paranoid, but anyway, that's where I landed.
You could also just self-host adguard dns for free. https://hub.docker.com/r/adguard/adguardhome

Asked their chat if I can still use it for 2 devices now, and the other 7 later. Will update here once I get an answer.

I love Adguard especially when using on Android phone as you don't need to jailbreak your device

Not sure how the paid version is better than the free. Is that spelled out somewhere?

is Adguard undetectable?

Many websites will block access if they detect their ads being blocked

I believe the free versions are extensions for the browsers you install them on, where the paid version is an app. AdGuard outlines the differences here: https://adguard.com/en/compare.html?os=windows

Wondering the same thing. I use their public dns servers on my phone and on my home router and it works great but if they shut the free version down then I'd need this.

I think paid ones can block ads in apps as well. And whitelist etc. Not just browsers. But again one can achieve full filtering using their DNS. But i am thinking of signing up as my token of appreciation. I had no ads or barely any for last 1yr. So, don't mind paying as thanks
