I have one of these. They're okaaaaay. Not great. The buttons are super mushy and the design is a bit too tight even if you have a slim case on.

They also can be had for $30 on ebay if you don't mind a used/like new one.

If this was the V2 version I'd be all over since it sounds like the buttons have been improved greatly.

I purchased this a few years ago at about the same price. Looks nice and fits the Razer Phone 2 perfectly, also my Pixel 3. I used it for emulators, however, the directional pad hits multiple directions when pressing them (Press right and down or up will also be pressed).

I would recommend a different controller, unless this is an upgraded model, or you have a way to adjust sensitivity.

I have a 13 pro max as well, and after removing my case, the phone fits into the controller perfectly. Besides, you should probably use it without the case for heat dissipation anyway...

Just get a Deck, because it does way more and is way more suitable location to store games and save files for emulators etc. Gaming on phone with a controller is just kind of janky. The whole point of phone gaming is you can do it when you shit, or at the most unexpected situation where you have time to kill like waiting for your food to arrive at a restaurant etc.. You are not gonna carry this with you to the shitter I promise unless you make an active commitment to carry it.
I keep my controller in my bag (in a case) and bring it with my on trips/outings where I know I'll have downtime and want to game a bit away from home. It's pretty handy as well for ad-hoc local games of minecraft, etc., with people on consoles at another house where you have to play full screen only. It has a lot of good use-case scenarios other than taking it to the shitter lol.

Not sure why you replied to me with this. I tried it. Taking the case off each time to use it was a dealbreaker for me (as my comment said).

Idk what to tell you buddy. I own an iPhone 13 Pro and I just bought this exact Kishi, and I have been playing on it. A quick google search will show you photos and videos of others doing the same.

I see what you mean about the bump in the rubber insert. I use the "A" insert and there's only a few mm overlap with the camera bump. But still fits snugly, as stable as the Kishi gets. Looks like cutting out a few mm from the rubber insert ought to solve that problem.
