Usually condition matters but sometimes Samsung runs "any condition" trade in deals but since we can't predict when those deals will be. You could buy this and beat it up through use and trade it in whenever one of those "any condition" deals are running.

I took a quick look over at samsung website and the Tab S8 series and S7 FE has a "any condition any galaxy tablet trade in for $200" going on right now.

This is an 8.7" tablet vs the FIre HD 10 2021, which is a 10.1". Just like laptop sizes or phone sizes, some people like smaller screens and others like larger screens.

Fire HD 10 2021 has higher resolution and pixel density. However it comes with some bloatware that many people don't like, although it can be removed with some effort.

Just got a free a7 lite from the T-Mobile business tablet deal. I do not recommend this tablet. It plays hd YouTube videos fast enough with no lag but it takes a long time to open apps and to load webpages. I don't know how fast a 100 dollar tablet is supposed to be these days. I have an iPad mini 6 and it's way faster (but costs way more). I'm not sure how usable it would be in a few years.

This is pretty slow and janky. The Fire HD 10 has a better SoC (Cortex A73 cores instead of just A53 cores). Of course you have to either live within Amazon's ecosystem or have the tech ability to install the Google Play Store if you go that route. It's not incredibly difficult, though.
