Tom Ford private blend, yes. Tom Ford has some more mainstream scents (e.g.black orchid) which were like $80-90 for a 1oz bottle a few years ago. Looks like those have gone up to $100+ now too though.

I got a free bottle of grey vetiver years ago,which I liked well enough. I googled what vetiver was, bought some essential oils for maybe $10 and now I have a cheaper, more concentrated facsimile. The value in designer cologne is that people in the know will know that you spent serious coin in it. Same as buying an $800 ostentatious Gucci belt to broadcast to the other bros buying $11 coronas at the meat market that you're a cool dude.

Parfum is much stronger and lasts much longer. This is probably the equivalent of 4-5 toilette bottles
