I collect fragrances and have around 90 bottles of designer and niche. I own this scent and it's definitely exactly as it sounds. It's a well-blended woodsy scent and you could wear this year round. It's not the strongest scent but it will last a few hours. I highly recommend picking this up if you have the extra money. Also, it's not watered down because it's at Costco lol. I recommend reading reviews on Fragrantica if you're on the fence. For compliments from women, i'd give it a 9/10. If you're wanting a Tom Ford for Fall or Winter that isn't from the private blend I do enjoy TF Noir Extreme as well.

I love Tom ford frangances. I have farking fabulous, tobacco vanille, noir de noir. Oud wood wasn't my favorite but for this price I love it. Bought thanks.

Most perfumes are reformulated after a few years of being launched, with cheaper ingredients, manufacturers changed and not for the better. Same batch numbers will smell alike. Go to a site like basenotes.net, search for a replica / clone of an expensive perfume u want and based on other people's reviews, u can save a great deal.of money. A lot of Arab perfumers make similar scents with slight variations but mostly same base notes, that are cheaper with great sillage and longevity. Just be aware that even the replicas are reformulated after a while. Fyi, the most expensive perfume oils are usually of Arab origin.

True but this is formulated with synthetic oud, which runs about a tenth the price of real oud.

It's a very nice fragrance, but I don't care about the bottle and buy it from a decanter at a better price than this.

Some people are funny enough don't know anything and make comments about this scent is basically nothing and tơo expensive and even do a calculation of how this affects and causes someone a life. Does your life normal and has real happiness? Buying $100 or $1000 and causing someone death or depression? Life is only 1 decision to make? OMG, hilarious people stop making stupid comments. It doesn't have to cost that much. Versace Oud Wood is generally recognized as being somewhat similar to this, for example. There are hundreds of oud blends from various producers that are high quality and thoroughly enjoyable to wear, and cost no more than half as much (Montale, for example). Brand consciousness when it comes to fragrances can be shockingly expensive with little potential for return on that investment.

I have two small groupings on my shelf that are constant reminder of the importance of putting value above all else when it comes to buying cologne. One is a group of 3 or 4 high-end fragrances that I cannot stand to wear, including one Tom Ford. The other grouping is fragrances I love to wear that I bought for pretty much shipping. There's about a dozen items in that bunch.

Jomashop sent me the wrong product then expected me to pay for return shipping. CS were a series of dense, obstinate d*cks with the mental presence of a chestnut. Fortunately it takes about 20 seconds to fix this kind of issue if you use AMEX.
