No PPS support documented for this charger (so no super fast charging despite the wattage rating). Also no support for the 12V mode that has become optional for power delivery (only a problem for those few devices which could utilize the mode). So overall a reasonable price for a basic 30W PD charger which could charge some laptops, tablets, and even your phone (though many phones might charge faster on older Quick charge or newer PPS chargers).

5V ⎓ 3A
9V ⎓ 3A
15V ⎓ 2A
20V ⎓ 1.5A

Good luck!
Jon
Edit: Yes, it's a good deal, especially if you've got a newer model iPhone that can take a 27W charge. Then you definitely want a 27W or 30W charger. I can't speak to android phones. There's a dude (Jon) that usually comes into these charger threads and gives a technical analysis. Maybe he'll say something later.

Why might this be voted down? I've seen a lot of shilly looking posts within Anker threads to a couple brand's products that never get their own posts, often accompanied by anti-Anker sentiment. Maybe that is why.

Also, many people don't have a microcenter around and resent missing out.

Thanks OP, I bought two.
I've bought so many crappy chargers over the years, I have a box full of them that dont work. For me its worth a few extra bucks to get the anker name so I know it will work.

Is this a good deal... I see 20W for the same price going on FrontPage but this one is getting thumbs down... am I missing something?

For the curious: It's not foldable, but it's $14 less than Amazon's current price.

***EDIT: as of 11:25 PM EST 10/7, this is now $20 less than Amazon.***

Likely due to Micro Center making these annoying pickup only deals.

This seems to be a good deal considering Anker's reputation and the fact that it's 30w. However, in real world uses, 20w vs 30w won't be significant for most if not all devices, even if your device supports a higher wattage charger. With that said, if you need a modern charger and live near a Micro Center (and want an excuse to go there), then this isn't bad at all.

I thought the newer models of iPhones can take up to 27w. So are you saying using a 20w would be similar in performance to using a 30w one?

The 30W could also be good if you wanted to power a smaller laptop like a MacBook Air. We saw refurbs of these around Black Friday 2021 for ~12.50, so I'd say this is an excellent price.

There is a difference, just that in real world uses, it's not really noticeable.

The 30w stays about 6-8% ahead of the 20w from 0-80%, and drops down to pretty much no difference after 80% (the 20w catches up and they stay the same after that). Not sure if iPhone 14 will be different, maybe a bit faster based on one of the comments I read.

With that said, considering most 20w chargers are fairly close to $10 as well, if you live near a Micro Center, might as well get this 30w. But if you can't get your hands on a 30w, it's really not a big deal. Even the 20w USB-C chargers are significantly faster than most USB-A chargers from 5-10 years ago.

30w chargers will charge my laptop (while in use), but the 20w will not.

2 hr round trip drive is not worth it for me, oh well.
