Anyone have experience with the pro sealer? How well does it work with marinades or sealing damp foods?

Has anyone tried using generic plastic rolls from Amazon on the Annova sealers? Thanks.

Is the container bundle worth it? Also, is the nano sufficient for family cooking for 3 people? Thanks in advance!

Yes, works fine. I've purchased the housables and nutri lock brands.

Christ on a stick, these things seem so expensive now!

In 2018, Best Buy's Black Friday deal was $100 for the wifi enabled sous vide. And, some of us also got 30% back from Samsung Pay on that.

Nano is sufficient for 3 people. You can pickup a non-anova branded 12 quart container on Amazon for around $50. You don't really need the container, just a large cooking pot will do (I use a pressure cooker pot for cooking for 4 people), as long as the pot is deep enough it will be fine. I occasionally use a container when cooking larger cuts of meat (ribs)

Thanks! Went with the Nano + container bundle, since it's only $22.50 with the discount.

Nano would be fine. I use a cheap cooler for a container, adds a lot of insulation, saves money and keeps the temp more stable

Are people using sealers that much? I am currently submerging a ziplock in the water and closing the seal at the last moment when all the air is expelled.

Does this machine bring anything that justifies yet another kitchen gadget?

I have an old sealer and you can certainly get a leaking bag with a sealer too if you don't pay attention.

Anyone used the Chamber Sealer? Looks like the coupon works for it coming out to $262. Seems really cheap considering other chamber sealers are $1k+

I have an older Anova, but I then bought a container from Amazon as it's a pretty practical accessory. I used to use a oval shaped pot, but the container is just as easy and the lid keeps it stable. I did a 24 hour ribs recipe (not my style, but was a test) and it's nice to just set it and forget it and not worry about evaporation.
