Just a better company/product in my opinion. Their gravel one uses a gates belt, components otherwise are solid and customer support is reasonable.

I agree. I am enjoying my Babymaker 2. Its a great commuter bike. I put on better tires, a rack, and a nice hydralic seat post.

FLX is OK as a company.

I got it for the special VIP preorder price of $1,111 back in February. Totally worth it. If I had to pay much more I would have gone with the Ride1up Roadster v2.

The Babymaker has the advantage of hydralic disc brakes, carbon belt, a larger battery and a faster 4A charger. But Ride1Up is a superior company.
