For those getting the "oops" error: make sure you're logged in definitively. For whatever reason, it was showing me as logged in, but kept trying to take me to the add payment page and glitching out thinking I wasn't logged in. Try clicking continue, logging out and in and then back up your browser and click Add Venmo again.

If this helps no one, fine, but I've tried randomly when I see this post bump for 2 days now, and it finally worked.

I thought it would work but I'm caught in a vicious cycle of connecting my Venmo and Chase accounts and can't break that loop. Connecting my Visa card didn't work.
