Bought 2 PSN 3-packs (3 $10 cards per pack) for $24 a pack. No problem. Smilie
Tried to buy a $25 XBox card, would not ring up properly, tried everything. Frown
Manager called another DG store, same problem. Frown
Manager called another DG store, working there . Confused
Drove to that DG store (same highway, 2 mile drive), cashier rang up $25 XBox card for $20, no problem. Big Grin

Just bought two $25 GC's. First DG I went to said they weren't on sale; tried hand scaner to price check and came up at Og Price. Went to second location, they had holiday ad in store. Cashier still didn't know for sure. Rang them up and it applied the discount. Guess it applies when scanning to buy. Debating going back to buy enough for series X. Both DG locations have more than enough to cover cost.

Side note, Mailer ad had both the multi-pack $60 an single $25 GC's at 20% off.

I was going to buy four $500 Lowes cards. The cashier said I couldn't use a cc due to the amount of the cards. I asked the limit to use a cc. She said she'd do $100. I asked if that was store policy and she said it's up to the manager. She said it's because people use them and then dispute the charge with the credit card company. I went to another DG and the girl said I could use a cc there, but we'd need to do them two at a time. But the card wouldn't go through. My cc company suspected fraud and froze it. I called and they were supposed to release it, but I was only able to buy one using the credit card.

Yup. Most jobs ask if you're willing to work holidays during the job interview. Guarantee most people say they're willing to work holidays because they need the job. Once those holidays come though, they bitch and whine.

Some associates want holiday pay, and since Thanksgiving means nothing to me, I'll sure support them.

Police and medical don't get any holiday off but you don't see the woke internet warriers cancelling those industries, now do we.

Celebrate with your family and friends throughout the year, not just when society tells you to on a specific day. Problem solved.

Stopped by DG tonight on my way home and had no problem checking out with (9) Xbox 3 x $20 packs and (2) $25 single cards. We did them all in separate transactions just to be safe. My card threw up a fraud alert on the 9th transaction, but a quick text reply confirmation and the rest went through fine. No problems using a credit card for me.

Thanks to the poster who mentioned the app for checking the local ad flyer, too. Everything rang up automatically, but it was still reassuring to have it.

Anyone know if the deals will ring up together in a transaction or is it one deal per transaction? I.e. I want to buy 2 of the $25 Starbucks to get the $10 off and then also buy the Chipotle to get the 20% off in same transaction.
