Shipping might be free, but note that a $12.95 handling fee applies. This exists no matter whether the price is $199.99 vs $79.99, but that makes the total $92.94 plus tax, instead of $212.94. 60% off is still great though.

I never write reviews but I had to for this dumpster fire of a desk... I got it on sale for $79.99 + tax + special S&H fee... and even at that price it's barely worth it. I thought I knew what I was getting into when I purchased this... I read all the reviews, thought about it for weeks, checked various places on the internet... and in the end it was a waste of money. I went though many desks over the years everything from colossal glass top behemoths to particle board junk to butcher block work benches and this is one of the worst. All of the problems stem from the fact that the top is made from laminated particle board:

1) the top edge around the top is sharp 90 deg corners; a lack of beveled edges = wrist & arm pain when using the desk
2) the top piece is just low quality, I would have gladly paid $200 more to have solid wood, I do not see the finish on this lasting long, out of the package one corner looked like it was peeling already
3) the low level of quality control was initially noticed after assembly when I put the desk against a wall, thats when I see one side sticking a full inch further away from the wall... I checked my wall thinking "maybe the wall is not plumb or has a bulge" but nope... due to the bolt holes & centering peg for each leg being set differently the legs on the desk were each sticking out at different angles... essentially the feet of the desk don't make a perfect rectangle if you were to draw lines between them (aka it's not "square"). When I flipped the desk around the problem was even worse.
4) for some reason the height of the desk is a good 1" higher than any other desk I've used (barring desks that had keyboard drawers)... the height just feels awkward (I'm 5'10" and have a 32" inseam... I am not short by any means)
5) the leveling feet are cheap, small plastic junk
6) even though it was nicely packaged one of the legs had a bunch of nicks and scuff marks on it out of the protective wrapping

If you need a desk that is under $100, has the color of 1960s-70s furniture, have a 34"+ inseam, and you don't plan on putting it against a wall then this is the desk for you!

If a family member didn't throw away the packaging before I really tested it out I would have returned it and ate the $15 S&H fee.

Imo, 23.7 is not a good depth for computer desk.
