Assuming you have a good cell signal in your home first...
In my case I use Wifi calling when at home, so this will be a catch 22..
And pretty jittery.
In a good time, I get 50-80 down, and at most 10 up. Kinda painful for at-home office activity.
YMMV. Check your cell signal and call them to locate the nearest 5g tower, before making decision.
I'm on the Magenta 55+ and I'm getting the discount. Remember to ask the rep for the $100 pre-paid visa offer that they are running when you sign up, it's like getting 3 months for free when you also get the card.
Here is the thread about it:

I have 20% off Insider discount and still get $20 off. $30/month is a pretty good deal for me.
I've been curious and haven't bothered trying to find out if the home internet device acted somewhat as an amplifying antenna.. not necessarily for my cell phone but for the home internet. The sprint magic box made my sprint cell phone go from 0-5Mb down and 0-2 up usually to 15-50 down and 2-60 up.
I figured the potentially much larger antenna than my cell phone would provide better service.

Try switch the access point to 4G Lte. I was getting 50 mbps on my phone for 5g and a solid 138 Mbs with 4G. Think they reconfigured the tower or put a new one by me because I am now getting 475 Mbp on 5G.
