How long can you wait to activate the service? My current T-Mobile prepaid plan doesn't run out until mid-January. Can I buy the Black Friday $10/month Ultra Mobile deal[ultramobile.com] now and wait until early January to activate and port my number?
You can just buy this from Unreal Mobile in January - same price.
Yes - if you have any trouble, chat with/call Unreal support and tell them you'd like to port in from Red Pocket.
Cool thanks! Unreal website only mentions free international call to 80+ countries (see https://www.unrealmobile.com/plan...14628223), but Red Pocket includes both call and text. Do you happen to know about Unreal's international text/message? Is it also free to 80+?

So unreal is reselling ultra mobile for 120 but ultra mobile is ultimately charging the monthly Recovery Fee so how are we getting around it?
Also for esim is mint the only option?
I've been a ultra mobile customer. I red all conditions and bought this 12 months 2G plan. Then I was informed you have to get a new number to activate the sim. Back and forth with the customer support, they said per other conditions applied which is Not showing any details I have to change my number as an existing customer. Wtf. 145 I paid for the this deal will be forfeit in 31 days after I received the sim. Which is totally awful. Bbb and my credit card I used will be getting a dispute from me.

Ah. This is a SIM kit, so definitely for new customers. Should have purchased from Unreal - would have been cheaper too, after tax.
What you can do is start service elsewhere making sure to take your current Ultra number with you - Boost has a $99 cent first month, for instance - then use the Ultra SIM kit to activate your year plan, making sure to port your number back in.

It's tmobile version of prepaid plan
Not exactly. More like their low income/affordability plan - albeit without eligibility restrictions.
