I'm hoping for $250 as well, but locked in at $270 just in case. Costco is supposed to have an Apple Savings Event later this week, so I'm hoping they and some other retailers still have some room to lower a bit more.

Just looking for something to watch videos on while using the treadmill or bike, have a second gen 12.9" iPad Pro (I really don't use) currently but it's just a bit too large for the device holders. See they're about the same PPI but is this base model a decent enough screen if that's all I'm using it for?

Don't think we will see anything cheaper at Costco given some of the AirPods are discounted till 11/28

What's PPI?

It not Pre Purchase Inspection obviously but PPI is used constantly in any auto-related thread.
