Use coupon code SLINGER60 for 60% off with free shipping. I've purchased a couple at previous deals but never saw the price drop this low. Def a good beater knife that's fun to deploy and has a seriously sharp blade. A little small for regular use but for quick uses it's wonderful.

I bought one last year @20.

I'd say this is by far the worst knife purchase I've ever made. It's worth $5-10 bucks to me. @16, perhaps you're getting close to value, but the market has so many good knives for great prices, I recommend better options. For reference, I purchased about 10 knifes last year of different types of quality.

This knife is SMALL. It's likely smaller than you realize. At the end of the day, not a big deal, because even small knifes can have lots of uses.

The kicker for me is the quality of the opening action. It was so bad the knife needs immense force to complete a full, safe open for operation. The quality just isn't there.

Again, @ $16, perhaps it will service enough purposes for you compared to other tools, but to me, it was my only regretful purchase.

Don't comment much, but had to share this one. Thanks!

This knife is my daily driver.

Excellent blade, easy to sharpen, cuts through cardboard, ethernet cable and I even use it to remove flat head screws if needed. I abuse it because of the price but it's held up so well I'm getting another.

Highly recommended.

Ahh too bad gray is out of stock. I think gray looks the best. Oh well, ordered a black one. Price seems good.

Was going to get one of the blue and one of the gray. My two favorite colors. Was bummed it was out of stock.

Wow, so much spam and fake posts, I got lost.

Anyway, got suckered into some stupid tweezers from "STATGEAR" last year, total junk, and they wouldn't accept a return.

Remember it's not really a "slick" deal when the company has to pay extra money to advertise their "massive" discount.

Looks like a solid deal for a relatively quality and small EDC knife.

Can anyone who disapproves suggest a better and similarly sized and priced EDC?

I can't speak to the quality of this knife, but my EDC is a Buck knife and it has been great overall. Similar price point.

$16 for a D2 Blade and Stainless frame. Kinda hard to do better for a beater.

I bought these a couple years ago. Quite snappy and a great 5th pocket carry to keep the longer blades in your collection clean for other tasks.

Personally, I like Kershaw and Buck. And yes, I have one of these StatGear knives - not happy with the action at all. Buck and Kershaw both have American made and Chinese made models so the prices vary. The Chinese versions are surprisingly well made. I love the assist action on Kershaw but right now you can get a Buck 284 Bantam on Amazon for $18. It's thumb release w/o a clip, similar size to the StatGear and American made. I've come to prefer the nylon handles since they are so much lighter as well. The Kershaw Shuffle and Shuffle II are both solid too. (I have both) If you want to spend more money, check out the Kershaw Chive or Scallion which are thin, light and have blade assist but cost more.

D2. The quick release is ball bearings instead of tension so you'll need to clean and adjust it regularly. The only thing I like about mine is the size.

I had one from a deal from last year, at first was impressed, then ball bearing blade got loose and it appears to take some specialty tip to tighten that I did not have.

Is it too much work for you to click the link and read for yourself? It would have been quicker than typing out a complaint about it.

It's not too specialty, though perhaps not super common. It's a torx bit (looks like a star), which are used frequently in knives. Bits can usually be picked up pretty cheap online or from any hardware store or supermarket. Worth investing in as virtually all knives with a smooth action will have some variance in lockup over time as they "wear" in. This can be accounted for by adjusting the pivot screw and securing the bolt with loctite (consider purple given how small these bolts are) as needed. Also nice to have bits if you ever need to take it apart for cleaning or other maintenance.

Seems like a very polarizing pocket knife. I ordered one. I can be the final decider.

Free shipping, and no sales tax. Can't go wrong here.

Can flip if I change my mind like some other poster mentioned.
