There's no way you could pay me to use wireless inductive charging. It's inefficient compared to charging via cable, and the waste byproduct is heat. Which adding repeated extra thermal loads to an already running hot device (especially if trapped in a case) isn't great for the electronics and particularly for the battery.

In fact, charging at 12w (5v @ 2.4a) is still one of the best ways to charge -- low and slow gives you the best lifespan of batteries that are getting more and more expensive swap.
Magsafe is a genius way for Apple to earn royalties from every Magsafe compatible cover made and discourage people from buying non-Magsafe compatible products. Well played Apple.

All true, but sticking phone on a magsafe charger in a car is so fast and simple - no need to deal with cords and the phone stays solid on the charger thanks to magnets.

The only time I use wireless charger is the lightning port is damage and can't be charge that way. Wireless charging is slow as shit. Let's be honest.

I'm not a fan of wireless charging due to the inefficiency of power transmission, the heat generated, and the quickness of cabled charging. I'm a little clumsy and have two kids who are slightly less clumsy than I am so this case would be a no-brainer if you know that your phone will be dropped on hard surfaces more times than should be allowed for a responsible human. Still, I have never cracked a screen in over 10 years.

I used to go for OtterBox Defender cases before I would even unbox my phone because the phone is too expensive for me to not put in a fat plastic condom.

I switched from OtterBoz to Spigen cases because of size, but my ringing endorsement for the OP cases is that I dropped one from 1000 feet onto a cold semi-frozen drop zone doing an airborne jump in the army and my phone worked perfectly fine afterward.

Good for super clumsy people. These are so bulky that when I tried with my 13 mini made it feel like small brick so I opted for something lighter and thinner. If someone needs this much of protection they probably drop the phone on daily basis.

I already have a tempered glass screen protector on my 13pro max for a different case. I presume there is no easy way to remove or not use the built in screen cover of the defender series, is there? Or if you use both is there loss in clarity or response of the screen. thanks
