I have both Martha Stewart and these Tommy Hilfiger towels and these are the far better option IF you like a dry, parched towel that is quick to absorb and dry you up. The Martha Stewart towels are softer and not as thirsty haha

Any towel aficionados, what brands and lines are the ones to look at for high value with long wear and retention of good qualities over many wash cycles?
Or is it possibly better strategy to change them out more frequently?

I bought these bath and hand towels when they showed up on slickdeals about 5 months ago to use in my short term rental. They've probably been through about ~30 wash/dry cycles since then, and have held up fairly well. I did spot a few loose threads on them, but it's not as bad as the mid-tier towels I bought off Amazon (that were supposedly highly rated).
Apart from the durability, they look and feel nice too, especially so at this price point. I bought several more, both for my own personal use, and as future replacements for my STR.

I picked up Ralph Lauren monogram towel about 5 years ago and it has been flawless. Also picked up a Lacoste towel 4 years ago and added that into my cycle of towels. Been using both of these, one week each, and then washing in washer, drying in dryer. They both are still rock solid after 4+ years now. I've been wanting to change them for some new colors, but they still feel new after all this time.
I'm picking these up hoping they're somewhat close to Ralph Lauren/Lacoste quality for guests.

Funny because I was actually thinking that those same RL towels with monogram I bought probably around the same time have been very solid as well. A couple have had some threads come undone at the ends but overall they've held up better than any other towel I can remember.

Have had good experiences with Costco ones so hope these stay good. Looking forward to dumping my old cheap Kohl's ones
