Mine was received well packed in another box with the laptop box inside. Fully factory sealed. Everything inside was brand new and untouched.
Register the product as warranty was updated to my date of purchase. I went ahead and then paid $130 for a 3 year extended warranty including accidental damage protection, in home service, and sealed battery warranty.
Lenovo recognizes this seller as an authorized retailer, I can confirm from my talks with them, so buying from this seller is no different than buying from say Best Buy.
As far as performance I'm quite pleased. But with that said I've never had a gaming PC and only gamed on console. But I have been playing Modern Warfare 2 on the laptop and have not played on Xbox since. I like the mobility.
Plays nice and smooth. I personally like the RGB keyboard but I usually turn it off at night as it's distracting when gaming to my eyes. When just working I like it on, looks cool lol
Battery life when gaming sucks, but I guess that's the norm on gaming PCs. Especially when playing a first person shooter.
When I turn off the GPU and just use it for work, it's estimated 4-5 hours, but I haven't used it that long straight to confirm. I used it a couple hours and lost maybe 20-25% so it seems accurate.
A few cons....
It is heavy. I don't mind this personally, but for some this can be an issue.
It does get loud (fan noise) when full power gaming. Again, doesn't really bother me but I know some it will.
Charger is bulky. But it's also 300w.
Other than that it's blazing fast. When I switch to quiet mode when I'm just doing work or surfing the web it's got almost no sound. Only loud when gaming.
oh and to clear it up, I CAN, and do, game on it when not plugged in. lasts just under an hour of Modern Warfare 2 unplugged and runs nice and smooth just until it goes into power saving mode.
However, the price needs to go down another $200ish for people to really bite on it. Even though the screen is superior on the Lenovo, 3070ti vs 3070 and build quality is better, the Acer nitro for $1080 with the 3070 will sell more.

Price has been like this for months. Sadly can't find any better deal on this laptop from any other site. The seller was banned on Slickdeals too and that made me do some quick lazy research and found some saying they make doing returns very difficult, charge you restocking fee unless eBays steps in etc. Found one saying they sell open box items as new and his source was that he worked there, another saying that the laptop they had received seemed to have been turned on multiple times when crystaldiskinfo was run. These are some of the cons I can remember. Other than that some say they received their device and everything worked fine. Unfortunately I am in no position to risk it so I won't bother. Hopefully with Black Friday and Cyber Monday another Legion Pro with a 3070 Ti pops up with a discounted price. If not I will hold off till next year.
Isn't the seller on ebay Lenovo? That's probably how they get to sell them cheaper than their website... Hmm
Oh wait, this is Antonline... hmm, that makes it a harder decision to bite or not.
The seller on eBay is Antonline they say they are an authorized Lenovo dealer though if that's what you meant.
Says right on the top of the page that they are "Authorized Lenovo Dealer - Brand New - Full Warranty".
I'd be fine ordering from them.
Also, why is everyone talking like this isn't a great deal? The last Legion 5 Pro dropped to this price and people lost their minds… Now people are like "meh… I'd rather get a used evoo…" 😳🙄🤦 ♂️

The Legion has:
- A larger, brighter, and higher resolution screen.
- 512gb larger ssd (1tb)
- Muchnlarger battery. (80w vs 57.5w)
- 2022 Ryzen. Way better on thermals, battery life and igpu blows intel away.
- 2022 RTX 3070 Ti.
- looks clean and not gamery. (Subjective)
The Acer has a tiny battery, a 12th gen intel and a 150w capable 3070. Battery life doesn't look good at all.
Legion cost more, but it's a better product as well.

Thanks for expounding on my thoughts. I didn't take the time to list out every pro.
