I currently use the Hoka One Mach 4 for Gym, Tread workouts. But they are so damn expensive and I need a refresh.
If anyone remembers the ShoeSteal.com deal of like I don't know, 2008, I'd be very impressed. It was insane. All shoes some fixed price of like $30. Even $700 shoes.
That is probably my largest beef with Asics and buying online. They seemed to have lost consistency in their shoe sizes across models.

So buy a size up?

I would have to agree. These shoes don't have the best soles if you want something with a softer feel to it. Generally speaking, people who do a lot of sports activities prefer shoes like this, as they can feel the ground beneath their feet a little better and tend to be nimbler shoes.
Should be fine, however there are better options out there if you plan on walking and standing all day for a job.
Should be fine for working out at the gym. Asics classifies these shoes as a "sports style" shoe meaning they work for the gym, as a casual athletic shoe, and for various sports activities.
They have it available in all black and black and grey as well.
What would you recommend for someone with foot& heel pain as an everday (non athletic) shoe?
