have these.. use them on a gas range. ..have been longest lasting pans I've owned to date.
Although I can't find it on All Clad's official website, this deal seems to be for the essential line which is separate from the HA1 and B1 line. Here's an old Slickdeals thread that got a lot of traction when they were $30.

The biggest difference seems to be the HA1 and B1 can be used on induction tops and these cannot.

I have these for a few years now and they have held up really well.

At $35, that's a great price.

I doubt you find anything close to this quality at this price point.

Bought the same set last year. Still holding up with it's non stick surface. Just wash with mostly soap and water. I did season with grapeseed oil at the beginning and occasionally after that.

I got these last year when the set was $29. We use them every morning for eggs and time to time for dinner stuff. They are great- if you've got old non-sticks just get them. I'm skipping this year but as soon as they degrade, I'm getting another set.

What makes this stuff better than alternatives? AFAIK it's the same non-stick coating, no?

Agree. I bought one from TjMaxx and has lasted so long that I just want to buy another one for the sake of knowing it will last forever

Made in China or Indonesia. The gold standard on hard anodized was Commercial Cookware made in Toledo. Calphelon took over the line years ago and began importing from Asia with a progressively lighter gauge and lower quality anodizing.

Anodized aluminum is not the best option in a fry pan for most cooks. The so-called induction ready versions are the lowest quality fry pans available. Energy prices and indoor health concerns are driving a switchover to induction. For those that are still using gas I suppose that these are passable but not slick pricewise imo.

BB doesn't carry HA1, their compatible product is B1. This set is their lower end.
B1 is this one (it's OOS)

I will check because the pictures show HA1. They were delivered to my home but I haven't opened the package. Has anyone received and can confirm the steel bottom or base on this pans?
