You're not missing anything, it's just incorrect that way - but I do it a lot myself also, even though I know better - it seems to make more sense since that's the order you read it in - nobody says "dollar one". And of course the cents sign, which nearly nobody uses any more, does come after the number. Always wondered as a kid why it was written backwards like that - turns out it was to prevent forgeries. Putting the $ in front made it harder for the guy you gave a check to to add in an extra digit in front before cashing it.
I bought this years ago for $1. They actually update this regularly instead of coming out with a new app for sale each year. That means that I'm now on the 2023 version for my original $1 and I have all the features that weren't around years ago.
This app has been very helpful identifying aches and pains, saving me trips to the doctor. I had forearm pain that I couldn't identify until I looked at it in this app and figured out that everything that hurt shared a common attachment point: tennis elbow. Even though my elbow didn't hurt at the time I then knew that it's what I needed to ice. I had abdominal pain that I was able to pinpoint by looking at the various organ and muscle layers in this app. Treatment for abdominal muscle pain is very different than organ pain so the app put me on the right path. I cannot recommend this app enough.
If you are interested in the subject, it's an AMAZING app. For 1$ it's a no brainer.

This is a great tool for any athlete. I use it all the time to pinpoint muscle strains. You can hide or fade different muscles, bones, nerves, etc.. and it also shows you an animated video showing the function of each part. A no brainer for a buck.

If you ever flipped through the transparent pages in the encyclopedia as a kid, you absolutely need this.

That might be a very specific demographic reference, but when you get it, you get it.
