We used to buy quite a bit from here but quality is equivalent to Old Navy.... All items for BR Factory and made exclusively for BR Factory... it's not like you're getting end of season BR anymore like before.

can someone with experience tell me how is their quality "trash"? how does it compare to non-factory? geninuely asking, the merino wool sweaters are a pretty good deal. i bought 2 but tempted to get more.

They use way lower quality material and the clothes wears out faster. Sweaters/coats/pants are probably ok if you don't mind that it's lower quality but things you put in the wash regularly (e.g. T shirts) degrade rapidly.

Worst website ever. Refuse to purchase just because of this. Of course, they will blame decreased sales figures due to the economy and expect tax credit bailouts for their own gross incompetence.

I am not sure that I agree with others about the website being that bad. It is a bit cumbersome to browse but the large images are helpful to understand the look and quality of the product. Other clothing sites have small images so it's hard to see the quality.

Ended up participating in this deal because it was so good. 60% off retail price. 20% at checkout. Additional 20% off entire purchase for signing up for their credit card. It will be impossible to get clothes anywhere at these prices.

Banana Republic and Banana Republic Factory aren't the same brand. BN/Gap/Old Navy "factory" are lines of clothing that are made below Old Navy quality, and are basically designed to last a few months at best. If it lasts longer, you're ahead of the game, I guess?

I used to shop BR (and their huge sales) 20 yrs ago. I was a well-dressed college kid yet I bought everything during their sales. It was quality products back then. Not sure what had happened to BR but the Factory stuff I bought 2 yrs ago wasn't great quality.

People are being ridiculous. The quality isn't the same as the main brand, but it isn't as awful at they are insinuating. At these prices these are still great deals. I got 10 new items for less than $90. It's unlikely I could even go to Walmart and get these prices for stylish clothes like these.

I've had plenty of BR Factory items that are holding up well as long as they are taken care of and treated with proper care.
