"Why did I choose this unit over something like the Bluetti EB3A? As the time of writing this review, I was able to get it at a lower price. I also liked the fact that Ecoflow has given this product a 5 year warranty vs. 2 year warranty on the EB3A. It's also rated for an additional 500 charge cycles over the EB3A.

I figure it is cheap enough, I'll try it. In for one.
eb3a has a 500W inverter, with powerboost it can power far more household electronics (e.g. corded vacuum), not a chance with river2

I can't even get support for my bluetti so it's pretty much useless.
It's a big rechargeable battery, I can't picture a lot of support needed
256W capacity
~80% efficiency on inverter.-52W
~5W per hour for unit: 5x5 = -25W.
256W - 77W = ~179W usable power.
You probably need a 500W+ unit to run the lights for 10-12hours.
