I think the consensus is: C2 is slightly brighter, and weights almost 50% less. Besides that not much. IMO the weight is a big thing so I think I'll get a C2.

Thats a bad panel, that isnt burn in. Contact LG, even out of warranty they replace stuff like that. Burn in is a result of stagnate image fyi.... Huge difference.

I have 2 OLEDs from 2016, one has > 12k hours on it. 0 burn in.

I have many hours on mine and I can assure you it's burn in, it's far out of warranty so I'm looking to buy a new tv within the next year

You are correct per LG's website.I was pretty sure the C1 didn't but I must have been thinking of another model or they made an update.

edit: just remembered where I got my information - physical inspection of the Best Buy C1 display in Gilroy, CA about a week ago showed 2 HDMI ports labeled 120 hz and the other two were not. I think LG may have updated some C1s because the LG website now says C1 has all 120 hz HDMIs.

I think it could be that C1 didn't initially have 4x 120hz but there was a firmware update that fixed the ports. Something is up with the two ports on the back of the set, I just can't put myu finger on it.

C1s always had 4 HDMI 2.1s. That is one of the reasons to choose it over Sony who only has 2 right now while Samsung has 4. I believe next year that Sony will have 4 HDMI 2.1s as their HDMI maker is adjusting this.

Well it looks like C1 has 4x 2.1 HDMI now so I edited my post contradicting this. It's academic at this point but I don't think C1 always had 4 hispeed ports. I think a firmware update may have been needed at some point. From LG website:

"*Release time of firmware updates for Dolby Vision® HDR at 4K 120Hz for gaming varies by model."

Great price and great TV; mine just came in and it's amazing, comparing it to the 2017 65" LG B7 OLED it's replacing, the brightness, color, 120Hz frame rate, and overall gaming experience is superior. That isn't to say the B7 isn't still awesome, but you can see and more so feel the new gaming tech.

To add to the discussion here, that B7 is out for repair because it stopped turning on one day and my local shop said it's either the power board or the panel, they've seen both go from that era of OLEDs. Note that after thousands of hours of entertainment (PS4/PS5, streaming shows, movies, etc.) there was no burn-in, just part failure. Once repaired the B7 will replace the aging 65" plasma we have in the family room. I got my 65" C2 from Costco once I saw the Black Friday deal and of course got the 5 year warranty total by adding 3 years of all-state for free. Given that my B7 failed, I don't want to mess around with that again (although my local shop is great and reasonably priced). That said, saving $200 is still pretty nice, and who knows, maybe the C2's are better built and won't fail like these earlier OLED's.

I believe that was previous models. I think all 2021 and 2022 Models had 4 working HDMI 2.1. Well either way it is trivial now. IT is 4 HDMI 2.1 the same as the Samsung 65 Inch OLED. Happy Thanksgiving!

Is this worth getting over the current LG C1 sale going on at Amazon? I believe it's a $300 difference before taxes and would like to know if C2 has something up its sleeve (except the new processor) that would compel someone to get this over the C1.
I can't find this deal, is it gone?

Looks like this was the best deal for the 65" C2 for Black Friday. All other deals are for the older model C1.
