We are actually in London right now. We flew by Norse. It was the most comfortable international flight (I flew internationally about two dozen times). Their aircrafts are ones of the newest in the industry. They fly lower than most air planes and the inside humidity is 50% higher. There was zero turbulence the whole flight. I highly recommend them.
Yes, you have to pay extra for everything (foods, drinks, luggage, blankets, ear buds, seat choice) but you can bring your own food on the plane. We did not pay for the seat selection but we were given 5 seats next to each other.

We paid $1400 for 5 tickets (I bought them on sale at the end of September) plus for one suitcase ($75 or $85 one way, my husband paid, I do not remember exactly).

We truly enjoyed our flight even with kids (3,7,11). The only problem was the arrival time (1 am American time)-it was hard for the kids.

London is a great place with lots to see. You will never regret taking a vacation here. We are having the best time of our lives.

We are already talking about coming back. We are not rich but with $1400 for 5 tickets we can afford a trip to London. The museums are free but most famous attractions are not but you can save with a city pass or a combo ticket.

The last time I booked a trip way ahead in advance with a low cost Euro carrier, they went out of business before my trip.

I booked Norse way ahead of time for a trip in October. They shut down all their routes out of MCO and I had to drive to FLL / pay more than the flight to get there. Still it was definitely worth the $139 ticket I paid even with the added expense and I even booked a flight from NY on their new route to Paris in the summer for $159.

It's cheap and a gamble I'm willing to take but I definitely would not be shocked if they shut down. They also closed their check-in desk early and I had to beg another company to print my boarding pass in Oslo. You get what you pay for, for sure. 😅

There is some middle ground between flying first class with a big name company and flying on a "value" company. Not to mention some of us are tall and international flights are already a pain even under the best of circumstances. When you realize you get nickel and dimed over literally every single option involved it is easier, less of a hassle, and often a similar price to fly with someone like Delta or American while having a better experience. And yes, I have flown international with Norse which is why I am even taking the time to make this post. Places like these may be fine if you are simply traveling light with no luggage and don't care about where you sit but if you are flying international you likely aren't travelling light and you certainly don't want to be stuck in a middle seat the entire flight because you wanted to save a few bucks. Some of us value different things obviously.

Bet come on man, just because someone doesn't feel like flying bottom of the barrel doesn't mean they are used to flying first class let alone international first class. I am sure this is a good option for some people just like international first class is a good option for some people.

Wait, where the heck did you get the idea that they fly lower than other airlines?

The pilot, ATC, and airline dispatchers decide what altitude an airplane flies. So your statement is false (at best). Also, how is that even relevant? Lolol!
