Glide 10-in Dual Bevel Sliding Compound Miter Saw (Corded) with free Bosch Steel Adjustable Rolling Miter Saw Stand

Bosch CM10GD 10 In. Dual-Bevel Glide miter saw delivers accuracy and cutting control at all angles, as well as durable precision throughout the life of the tool. The innovative Axial-Glide System provides wider cross-cuts, enhanced alignment and smoother glide, and the compact design takes up to 10 In. less front-to-back workspace than a slide miter saw. With a 15 Amp motor providing 4,800 no-load RPM, there is plenty of power. Adjustable miter and bevel detents enable users to make precise common miter and bevel cuts, and the override allows for easy angle adjustment. The bevel lock lever and range selector are located safely upfront so users don't have to reach around behind the saw to make a bevel adjustment.

Based on 3 C historical prices, this is cheaper than you could get either individually. The stand is the wheeled gravity rise stand (T4B).

Just get it.

I have this exact combination. The miter saw by itself is the best one on the market, but the stand makes it beyond anything. Idk how they can make 100 lbs of tool so effortless, but the two are made for one another.

Just get it.

Just, don't think about it. If you have the space, get it.

I can tell you it is one of, if not the finest, miter saws you can buy in this size, and the stand is awesome. But I don't have to tell you, because everyone who owns one will do it for me.
.
Nobody mentioned yet that this can go flush against a wall without the back of it sticking out past the body as on most other miters. That's a nice feature, too.

Need help deciding.
What would you rather choose.
This miter saw with stand or the Cordless 12" version for $441 with no stand.

I have it waiting for pickup at the store.

I also purchased the 18v 12.0 ah profactor battery for $162. So total comes to $603 with tax.

Not sure which to choose.

Forget the cordless miter saw. Ideally get the 12" corded, the 10" is kind of pointless and stupid IMO since this thing is a behemoth no matter how you slice it. YES get the stand no matter, the thing works like magic and lets you move it around super easily.

I have been using the Makita 18V x2 LXT 10" on this stand for a couple years and it works great. (The dust collection could be a little better.) I was looking at the 12" Bosch glide but went with the cordless and it cuts everything I throw at it from framing lumber to dimensional hickory and oak.

I have my 12" Dewalt miter saw on the T4B stand and it's incredible. No other miter stand I've seen comes close to it's easy of use and rigidity.

unless you NEED the extra clearance from the 12 id argue the opposite. 10" blades are far cheaper and the stand is great

I do trim carpentry professionally and while a 10" saw will do most cuts I need, it can't do all of them. Therefore, I recommend a 12" for anyone working professionally. A homeowner would likely be fine with this saw. From my perspective, the saw doesn't make the deal anyway, it's the stand that stands out.

Isn't Bosch spiraling downward as a company? Support will not exist for long?

Any idea how this stand compares to the Ridgid equivalent? I have a Dewalt DWS780 and I use the Ridgid Universal Miter Saw Stand:
