This says "3 layer" there's no way that's ceramic.
Yeah just did some more research (and they put out more material for the brand). Looks like it's a Greblon PTFE coating a relatively good one but still PTFE. Well damn. Thanks for pointing that out. I still recommend these HIGHLY if someone isn't scared of PTFEs.

It's always safe to assume that a $13 walmart pan with a celebrities name on it is not any good.

I find it funny that a vegan sells frying pan that 99 percent of food cooked in it will be animal based

Maybe she wants her meat lovers to die early?

I cannot recommend the Thyme and Table (and presumably this) line of nonsticks highly enough. They are a ceramic coating of some kind (no PFOAs, no teflon etc), I usually get about 4-5 years of heavy use out of them before buying my next set (just bought my third set, current ones aren't in bad shape, I just like some of the new sizes the Thyme and table is being sold in.
4 to 5 years of heavy use for a $13.50 pan, I'm in!

You have all clad then you have this.

All clad non stick suuuuuuucks, they do not lifetime warranty their non stick line. They know it will not last. Also I'm not sure if it's just me but All clad pans are ridiculously heavy, it is almost cumbersome [full set] =_=. Also have a nonstick wok from All clad, thing weighs like 25lbs.

No pan/cookware is good if it uses PTFE chem in it. They are full of fluorides, which is a neuro-toxin. Over time it is accumulated in your body and over time, you remain more docile, like Dolly the sheep, and maybe 70 or 80 years, then you go a little cookoo. But there are 8 countries in the world that add this toxic waste in the water system as well.
Aluminum, as well as copper when heated, and NO not 500F, even less start to off-gas.
Avoid them as well.

For cookware, use:
1. Cast Iron, or enamel(2000F+ degrees process) cast iron if you want non-stick. But even not enamled cast iron if seasoned well will be nonstick. They are a bit heavy, but clean up is actually easy with saltrocks.
2. Carbon Steel, seasoned well and its pretty good non stick. This is lighter than above.

3. Stainless steel. If you get it at the right temp, it too will be non stick. About same weight as Carbon steel. This takes a little practive. Using a few drops of water and see what temp the water drops do not gas off, yet also stay floating and making a vapor layer. Easier than it sounds. If you see spherical water drops moving around, you are at the right temp.

These will be a pretty good level of Nonstick (#2 most success for me), NOT like some chemicals are gassing off to polymer levels that food slides off easy. That is just NOT healthy if you cook even 1 time a month. It all adds up. We eat every day for our entire life!

If you buy a pan with aluminum. Try and make sure its an attached bottom. Not JUNK Triply or 5 Ply BS. These are the worst!! They have a thin layer of SS with mostly aluminum, and some claim different grades of aluminum. Don't "buy" it! Get the pan that has the aluminum as a attached bottom plate, if you must.

I highly recommend the Thyme and Table brand from Walmart having tried a LOT of different pans over the years. They used to make Rachel Ray's brand at WM which held up well for me as well. I'm assuming the Thyme and Table will to but never know. I'm probably a year in and they are still doing great.
