The functionality and supported ranges look ok for the price, even though it is no Fluke.
If you want to repair some electronics it's good to have a multimeter especially on which can also measure capacities.

There are a lot of meters that aren't Fluke. If you need any measure of accuracy, stick with something that resembles a reputable brand. Klein comes to mind. This is about as generic a Chinese knock off as they come.

FWIW I've had bad luck with no name meters. I don't think one needs a Fluke but probably best to save up, or buy a non RMS from a known brand.

This works fine and is accurate.

I bought this in the summer for a higher price and still think I more than got my money's worth out of it.

You would have to use it a lot and wear out the dial or drop it down a stairwell before you would know the difference between this and a more expensive one. It is lightweight and not as rugged as a Fluke for instance, but for home use this will get the job done.

I wouldn't be worried about the physical characteristics. I'm more concerned that my test equipment can hold a tolerance better than 10%.

I have this and works fine for normal use, Its probably not 100% accurate but its accurate enough for normal work around the house/repairs

Some Shilling Red Flags: https://reviewmeta.com/amazon/B07SHLS639
25% of current reviews are from known shills; 30% created within the same time frames.

Critical reviews paint a different picture than the high rating: https://www.amazon.com/KAIWEETS-M...geNumber=1

Don't believe the shills here.
Fakespot F due to insufficient reliable reviews. Never seen that on a product with 16,000 reviews before.

No doubt if they paid for so many fake reviews they'll have paid for some here too.

This thing is probably on par with the $7 Plusivo many here got with other cheap stuff in September.

Better than the cheap one from HF which it was giving away free on those days?

I'm no shill, I bought it and love it. But I'm not doing high tech repairs, just handy man stuff around the house/cars

That is not a problem. It is very accurate.

I am an engineer who has worked in factories with Flukes all my life. This thing is fine for home use and won't vary in measurement from more expensive units by any amount you would ever be able to notice. There are lots of reviews on Youtube showing as much where they hook them up side by side.

Like I say, the difference is in build quality, not the measurements. If you have to send your meter out to be calibrated for regulatory requirements then that may be a consideration too --- but that is not the market for this device. Otherwise, there is a ton of stuff that will get the job done and this is one of them. I got it because the free, or cheap Harbor Freight ones and similar ilk were pretty much useless and my more expensive meter I had since engineering school finally bit the dust. I was really pleasantly surprised at how well this works. We will see it if holds up over time. So far I have only repaired a hot water heater and a refrigerator with it.

I've been a mechanic for 40+ years. My Fluke 88 is only used when absolutely necessary. Honestly a meter like this is more than sufficient 90% of the time. A volt is a volt and an ohm is an ohm. A Fluke fuse costs more than 1 of these meters.

Kaiweets is not an unknown brand. They have been putting out solid meters for several years and there are a lot of good reviews for many of their meters done by experts including full teardown and full measurement cmparisons/tolerances, etc. Many perform very well. I cant speak to this particular meter, but I bought a clamp meter last year and it has been solid so far. and unless youre designing circuits/electronics, pretty much any Kaiweets meter should suffice as long as it has all the functions you need (I dont think this one measures capacitance for example
