Had no idea Samsung is making oled models now. How do they compare to lg and Sony oled?
They're considered a very good value but the Sony A95K is better. If you have time and want to go down into the weeds then you can watch the Value Electronics 2022 TV Shootout. There are also plenty of summary videos of the results like this one.
🙄 Someone has a reading comprehension problem. I said "if you have time" and if you don't then just google "LG vs Sony vs Samung OLED" and see what comes up and if that takes too long for you because you have the attention span of a gnat then just buy any TV since you don't have the patience to research anyway.
The Samsung and Sony use the same panel, it's how they do image processing that is different. The Samsung has 4 HDMI 2.1 ports whereas the Sony only has 2 and one of those is also the eARC port. Videophiles will want to pick up the Sony while gamers will want the Samsung despite the ridiculous price difference between the two for the same size.
The $1120 price for the Samsung 55" is the lowest it's ever been whereas the 65" has been down to $1399 twice in the last few months. I think the lowest I've seen the Sony 55" is $2499 and the 65" $2999, although I swear I saw the 55" for $1999 and the 65" for $2499 for Black Friday somewhere.

The Sony is marginally better than the Samsung according to some (not Rtings) but it is worth an extra $1,500 (more than twice the price of the S95b)? The answer is clearly no not even close.
