These don't have a power button, you have to screw the top off/on enough to make/break battery contact, which is pretty irritating.
5 lumen less and C instead of AA batteries..
I suspect if they had that, they probably could not sell at this price Big Grin

The upside is that this style tends to be more reliable/durable than a button/switch and when throwing in your pocket or whatever is less likely to accidentally be turned on

I had not thought of that, but that's a good point. If it's going to be for very occasional or emergency use, reliability (for me at least) is going to be a much higher priority than convenience. If frequent use, then probably the other way around.

Good price, if they also had it with a USB rechargeable lithium battery at a similar price I would buy 5.

Right, can't go wrong for $2. They also had the 250 lumen one on sale for $3 a few weeks back. I didn't realize how bright that was, tiny lights pack a punch

It takes a C battery and the C battery is not even included.

If I bought this, it would most likely be tossed in the trash the first time I need to use it. $2 goes straight down the toilet.

Agreed, the only thing I buy batteries for are remotes. I hate buying batteries such a waste of money.
