No sure when anyone would need a single mount like this. Every monitor I ever had comes with a mount. Especially Dell, I have a box full of OEM Dell cause all my monitors are on dual articulating mounts.

I have an old Auria EQ276W 27" 2560x1440 made with Apple IPS screen rejects for 400.00. Back in 2012, that was a killer price. . It was all the rage on slickdeals, and on the web. It came with a incredibly bad stand that offered no adjustment. It also came with an underbuilt power brick that always burned up sometimes taking the monitor with it. I wired up a Meanwell power supply for that problem long ago. The Auria has been sitting for several years, and I might just use it again. This stand would work well with it. .

I got the same thing but it was a 27" Crossover. Great monitor. Worst stand ever. It definitely skipped leg day.

oh yeah, I remember those. It was an upgrade over the Auria because it used better electronics and ran the screen at 120Hz?

Swivel, tilt, rotate, height. Some stands offer...none of that.

I guess this kind of deal attracts a certain crowd because I'm using a similar (flat bottom) Monoprice mount with an X-Star DP2710 27" 1440p PLS from 2014, at 120Hz.
I actually had one from 2013 die within a year (the actual monitor, not the power brick), and there was still nothing better on the market at the time, so I ended up ordering another ($300).. still working 8 years later, but I do be thinking that it's time to go.

Haha, nice! Yeah...those old panels were very nice, but I (like you guys) didn't want to pay MSRP for them either. Yes, those power bricks can also a pain as well! I had 3 monitors and one of the bricks did go bad on one.

After almost a decade, I finally did let my pair go this month to upgrade to a 49" Samsung G9. Going to hand it down to the kids, so these mounts should be good for them. As some may have said, most monitors in the last 5 years or so have pretty decent stands (tilt, rotate, and height)...so this item probably cater to a select few.

Aren't Dell mounts proprietary to the particular monitor?

You could bolt it to the table they have a video on amazon
True that would be an option, but as long as I can get one for a similar price that's designed to clamp to the table, that seems much easier. Of course, I could save by bolting the original one that came free with the monitor, but those are invariably crap on any of the bargain monitors I've gotten, they pretty much get tossed immediately. Really wish I could get monitors with no stand at all and have them cut $5 off the price for the poorly designed stand I'm not going to use.

Just unpacked and installed a 24" monitor. Base is not very heavy. Good enough, but not for my 34" monitor.
