Been wearing a pair of cat boots once or twice a week for 5 years now. Definitely not the most comfortable and I'm ready to take them off after 8-10 hours on my feet but they are durable. After 5 years they are just starting to separate along the soles. Wasn't looking for a new pair of cats but at $50 might be good for a second pair.

I'm on my second pair of them. First pair lasted 5 years and the 2nd pair is currently 3 years old. Keep in mind that they are steel toe work boots and not running shoes.if you work in the trades you'll rarely see a pair of these except on the feet of the burnouts who drink/smoke their whole paycheck every week. These were the Sears or Kmart boots and they didn't sell for no 140.00 lol.

I wore size 12.5, and had to go to 13 in most steel toe boots.

Keep in mind that they are steel toe work boots and not running shoes.[upgrade from timberlands] up until this past year or 2. haven't found anything with a steel toe to replace them with but I've gone to various other brands, each one disappointed in durability. whether I'm in a high oil/grease, mud, or just pure strain [I have multiple pairs at a time for each task] the cats just out preform anything. UNFORTUNATELY the cats, which out lasts every brand I've tried, only last roughly 8 months each. each pair maybe 4 hours daily every day for that 8 months?
the second shifts get uncomfortable fast. I'm surprised to see people getting years out of footwear, but everyone wears differently.
I find the cats in sale for $50ish, and I buy a couple at a time. I waterproof them with a wax before first wear and that's it. I could probably get more than 8 months but I don't care to risk blowing out a sole/side when it matters. I'll usually throw a cheap cushion in at half way, but they don't last long.
my favorite/ most comfortable brisk walking boot with minor work is the Columbia ridge Newton. HOWEVER they're pricy, at 3 months seams started separating, I'm at 7 months now and they look slightly worse than 3 months. I didn't think they'd last this long, I wore them a ton, they're the comfiest things I've got, but boy the durability sucks. If I did any reasonable work in them they'd most likely be done at 3/4months. they are mainly walkers/hikers.
