I bought the 55 inch M7 series from Walmart during their early BF deal this early November for $298. I've been using it for gaming on PS5, Switch and Netflix, no problems so far. I don't know what all the complaints with the laggy interface is from Amazon's reviews.

This TV also features Dolby Vision HDR, the black levels were actually pretty solid IMO, when streaming Netflix content. There's actually a logo in the top right corner that's specifies if the content is using Dolby Vision or HDR 10+ streaming from Netflix, Amazon Prime.

Just a heads up if you want to clear up the cache on the TV, this can be done by going to settings>admin and privacy>reboot TV. This will clear up any sluggish problems you are having.

The only issue I had was HDMI CEC, first not properly working. I had to disconnect all HDMI cables from my Switch, PS5 and reconnect the cables. Now, the HDMI CEC auto power has been working flawlessly!

TLDR, I would say it's a pretty good TV for gaming if you don't care for 120 HZ. It's also a solid choice for streaming Dolby Vision/HDR 10+ supported movies, TV shows!
You absolutely can tell a difference once you've played on 120

HDMI CEC is the bane of my existence.

You don't have to reboot the tv just go to the same menu and update device it will reboot and check for updates. Also enable quick start and last input used under settings.

Size matters… have 75" Hisense U7H and 65" Sony A90k OLED and while Sony looks sharper. We never enjoy it as much as 75". Dollar for dollar not only is Hisense a better value it's also a better viewing experience.

I have 65 oled and I love it but what you wrote wasn't clear. People came here looking for 75 and you said you can get oled for little more. You didn't say 65 so.
