I have been using this at least twice a week for the last 3 years. This was the best grilling investment I made over the years, only complaint is that cooking surface is a bit too small if you are cooking for more than 4 people. I wish they would had the xl version on sale. Some may disagree but this design is way more convenient than a conventional rectangular griddle.
Finally, something to make a huge 20inch Indian Dosa!

Seems a little small for hibachi style cooking. I'd be flinging things off. It's interesting that one of the pictures shows a guy using a cast iron griddle as if it was the wrong grill for what he was cooking. Do they work well for pizza?

Seems like the worst thing to make pizza on, you need super hot temps all around and this is just going to burn the bottom before you get the top of the pizza cooked.

I'll double down on the "best grill investment". I've really enjoyed trying new/different recipes on the griddle.

I figured. Cast iron pans can make a decent type of pizza, so it's far from the worst thing, but I'm struggling to envision where this thing really shines.
ive seen this on woot for a couple weeks and this is about $20 cheaper than 2 weeks ago, I just see many real world uses of this (on YT or anywhere) perhaps if there were more demos of people using this I would get one

Made a decent pizza but took a while to heat up (30+ minutes) with grill cover open and was a bit tricky to fit the dough in the slot sometimes. Have since graduated to a Kamado Joe ceramic grill and that makes perfect pizza.
After watching a few videos (https://www.youtube.com/results?s...Gas+Grill) I decided this would be the best alternative to replace my Weber Q that hasn't been heating up properly for the past year.
I was interested in this after watching Sam the Cooking Guy on YouTube. He doesn't use this brand but same flat top. Very versatile. Hmmm.
I too aspire to have one like Sam's, but this isn't even in the same ballpark. A lot if the versatility comes from the large surface area with a powerful burner. Sam's has at least 3x the surface area. That's big enough for hibachi.

I did consider that this may be good for roti, crepes, and flat breads, but I wonder if it has even enough heat.
