New lowest ever price. Behringer is a respected audio equipment manufacturer. (Not junk. Designed and engineered in Germany with a 3 yr warranty). This mic is, obviously, supposed to go up against the venerable Blue Yeti, but I don't think it's a cheap knock-off, just the same style and features. IDK, not many reviews 'cause it's newer.
It''s Amazon, I suppose you could just return it if it doesn't meet your needs or expectations.

Please consider getting a dynamic microphone for your average zoom meeting/streamer/podcaster/video chat needs. Unless you sound treat your room with foam, sound dampening, etc a condenser mic is going to pickup every single background noise. Condenser mics are terrible if you have not treated the room or have any kind of background noise at all. Dynamic mics have natural noise cancelation built in, offer the same sound quality.

I have had multiple yeti, snowballs, etc across the last 20 years and they were amazing and still are amazing mics, but a usb dynamic microphone's quality has come up to the standard of condenser mics but have the improved ability of natural sound cancelation without having to soundproof and treat your room. If you need a condenser mic you probably know, but if you don't know then you will probably want a dynamic mic and will be much happier with one.

I've personally given away so many people the CAD U1 for recording a podcast with me since it's just so cheap and works. They don't even need to wear headphones where zoom meetings with people with a blue yeti end up with technical issues, feedback and etc.

I still love condenser mics and have multiple, but the average person needs a modern usb dynamic mic.

Some of this is true and some is absolutely false. Many of Behringers clones sound identical. I'm okay with clones of synths from dead inventors. They shouldn't cost thousands 40 years later. Behringer let's average people have $10K of audio equipment. I totally understand the ethics concerns on newer clones.

This is not new. It's been out for awhile as it was around this price last year. I bought it and it works well enough. It is heavy though so cheap mic mounts do not work well. I use it with the attached base.

Close comparison. I use this one at work and a yeti blue at home and can't tell a difference. I got it for this price last year and haven't had any issues. Super heavy tho. Feels very premium.

i bought one from sweetwater last year. it stopped working all of a sudden after a few weeks. i tried plugging it into other computers and swapping the usb cable but the lights wouldn't turn on and my computers wouldn't recognize. sweetwater replaced it but i haven't had a chance to try the new one just yet

this thing is pretty tall in the provided stand and will be in the way of your monitor if you put it in front of your keyboard

The description says, "New lowest ever price." But I saw that Sweetwater had it on sale new for $30 at the end of Sept. I don't how often it gets that low, though.

I have this mic and like it a lot. It feels like a high quality piece of equipment. The only minor complaint I have about it is that it has a strange chemically smell coming out of the grill that can become unpleasant after extended use. I contacted Behringer support about it, and they said that they had no other reports of this, so maybe it is just mine. I was hoping the smell would go away after being out of the packaging for a while, but I've had it for some time now, and it's still there.

Just like the blue yeti then. The USB port often breaks.
