ONE+ 18V Cordless Full Size Glue Gun (Tool-Only) with 3 General Purpose Glue Sticks
Product Description:
RYOBI introduces the 18V ONE+ Cordless Full Size Glue Gun (Tool-Only) with 3 General Purpose Glue Sticks. This ONE+ Hot Glue Gun is compatible with any RYOBI 18V battery and has over 3.5 hours of runtime with the P108 4.0 Ah LITHIUM+ High Capacity Battery (not included). With an LED On/Off Indicator, you'll always know when your glue gun is in ready to use and when it is off. This professional hot glue gun is designed to work with All-Purpose, High Strength Adhesives and more. Best of all, it is part of the RYOBI ONE+ System of over 260 cordless tools that all work on the same battery platform. Backed by the RYOBI 3-Year Manufacturer's Warranty, the 18V ONE+ Full Size Glue Gun includes three general purpose glue sticks and an operator's manual. Battery and charger sold separately.
Note this is the model P305 with one heat setting, the model P307 with dual heat settings is considerably more expensive.
Got this for a whopping $5 more last month. WAY better than using a corded one! Significantly less dripping, too. If you do yearly decorations or crafts with hot glue often this is a major upgrade.
The included Ryobi glue sticks are bad. Very soft/flexible when dry. Buy a pack of the Arrow brand ones which hardens faster and holds better.
I picked one up yesterday because my local store (22980) had Arrow Pro-Pack boxes of 90 - 1/2" x 10" Arrow All purpose glue sticks on the clearance shelf for $7

I assume the dual heat allows for lower temps on more delicate materials, but is there any downside to the single temp glue gun if you're just using it on wood?

I have one of these...it is very convenient. If you have to ask what its for....then you don't need one. Don't succumb to FOMO.
oh, pffst. stop with the gatekeeping attitude -- shush with the "if you have to ask then you don't need it" exclusionist mindset. It's a glue gun for crying out loud.

Bought for my wife, she uses it for crafting. I haven't had a use for it yet, but she uses it weekly and love it.
What do you use it for. It's not FOMO. Maybe there's a DIY activity at home that I could use this for..
