Great deal. It's $80+ at Walmart and Kohls. More at EBay.

Great to have 3 times use them it goes on shelf in garage because you need space for blender . Toaster . Toaster oven. Microwave. Coffee maker. Waffle maker . Mortal . Pestle......
Hahaha this is so true … I have a different bread maker and after whole family being enthusiastic initially now it has finally migrated to the garage shelves

It's true. Also you can just as easily make bread in the oven and it takes a lot less time and you can control the loaf size.

My fav basic recipe.

Yup, now that the bread maker is in the garage … I found a mini hobby in sourdough and non-sourdough bread making. It's actually kinda fun and super simple / easy. Makes way better bread than the bread maker and doesn't require that much effort actually

I used to know someone who had a bread maker that he used just to mix & knead the dough he uses to make pizza at home. I thought about buying one for that but realized my Kitchenaid stand mixer I got for $25 at a garage sale can already do that.
This is also true. I tried to spark joy in using the bread maker machine again and was thinking … could I use it to at least do the initial steps? Maybe even just help with warm temp proofing in cold climate? But that little paddle isn't as great as a pair of hands tbh

There are some with ceramic coatings. I have one I like, it makes loaves the normal horizontal shape vs these tall types. Works great, I got 1lb bags of Saf yeast that lasts for a year. My machine has a gluten free setting I have never tried. Use bread flour for best results. It makes a difference.
What brand uses ceramic?

Looks like you need a $80 dutch oven for best results though.

I bought 2 to get free shipping. So far it's great. I'm not thrilled with the baking feature, but for dough making it's awesome. In the future I think I'll just use it for kneading and proofing then transfer to the oven. Bonus for this method is I can get normal shaped loaves and not the weird horizontal ones with a paddle mark in the bottom. The pizza dough it makes is awesome and surpasses anything my hands could knead.

Is ByDash legit? I see so many talking about buying but nothing about the site or brand itself. Is Dash quality enough for the price? Especially considering the cost of the maker is so much more at retailers?

Is this a legit website? Is it normal for them to use shopify and no option to cancel online or am I just missing something?

Yes it took them about a week to ship and 4 days after that to arrive. I ordered in early December though, so it might be even more backed up now.

I got a two piece set of Dutch ovens for $39. They are nearly always available at Sams, Costco and even Aldi/Lidl. Individual ones are usually ~$20 but they're not required at all for bread making.

For bulk baking this for sure. You can buy 10 for the same price and bake 10 loaves in the amount of time it takes to bake one with Zojirushi.
