Price history shows this pack being $10.85 for basically the past year, then they jacked the price up to $18.43 earlier this month, only to "discount" it 50%, down to $9.22.

Yeah, it's technically the lowest historic price, but is it really slick if the previous price has been $10.85 for the past 12 months? No matter where you draw the line, you have to admit Amazon's price manipulation is pretty gross.
yup, this is what the people need to know.
5 ft could be a good length if someone is running patch cables in a rack.

Maybe for people with a 4 port ethernet splitter (or 8 port) for their entertainment center like me.

We have a Sony, Onkyo, Synology, Shield, Roku, HDHomerun, Bluray, Ooma, and Nintendo Switch, attached to a network switch, attached to our router. That's just our our living room entertainment nook. You're probably right, who needs just 10?!

I have a "TV stand" (tv is mounted) that houses my router and several hubs, smart devices, etc. If I were starting from scratch then 10 wouldn't be a bad number. More than I'd need but not by a lot.

I have a mesh wifi system. Each of the satellite towers has 3 output ports. Internet is faster for devices wired directly into satellite tower. Also helps to have printer on the network.
