Yes but still very capable. I have this exact one and have used it for many years, and it's more than suitable for the vast majority of my use. Even worked to take out large subframe bolts coated in factory locktite.
If you have the money the brushless is more powerful but for $100 with battery this is an excellent tool.
edit: nm I just saw a review on youtube and there's a reason why these are $99, torque claim doesn't live up to it's name
The 1/4 inch is an impact "driver" not an impact "wrench" big difference in application.

You have better luck than me. Mine would sometimes not work for lugnuts. I did notice some internal sparking when I use it.
You can usually see internal sparking with a brushed motor, that's normal
