While that is a 12", that lesser model is not the 12" version of the sub in this deal. The comparable R-120SW is going for $296 at Amazon.
Amazon just price matched to $164.
Spend the extra money and get the 12 in sub, I am running two klipsch 12s in my surround system, one behind tv and another behind the couch.

Been watching this and the reviews are excellent. This deal currently beats Newegg and Amazon. Ordered and will be here with free hopping in less than 7 days. This will match nicely with my front and center channel Klipsch speakers.

If front speakers can go down to 30 Hz +-6db, will this make a difference? Movies sound pretty nice already.
It should make a difference, how much and if it's worth it is something no one can answer.

If your fronts go down to 30hz and this is listed as going down to 32Hz +/- 3dB it may help with spreading out the bass you are getting.
If it sounds pretty nice now I would say don't fix what isn't broken.

If cost is a real issue and you're scraping by just to get a sun in the home or the 10" fits the acoustics better I'd completely understand, but why not go an extra $50 and get the 12" on Amazon?

Thanks OP, my Jamo 808 pooped out and I've been watching Klipsch subs. This is the lowest it's been since 2018 via Camel Camel Camel

Depends what size your fronts are, if they are smaller then this should definitely add some more deep boom to your setup

In my opinion, not enough to justify the purchase. Though often for home theatre, you're going to high pass your fronts at 60 or 80Hz, and let the sub handle the lows. 30Hz is pretty high for a sub, and I don't think you'd be that impressed given your current setup can handle it. I'd look for something closer to 20Hz, even the 12" version of this sub that goes for ~$200 sometimes would be a reasonable upgrade.
