Product Information:
A new type of fuzz pedal which combines the value, reliability, and contemporary sound of a silicon‑based unit with the warmth and musicality of a germanium‑based fuzz.
Featuring plenty of gain and volume, the SIC1 delivers bright and round fuzz tones, while favoring the high frequencies typically lost on a germanium‑based pedal.
Additionally, it provides endless sustain similar to that of other contemporary high‑gain distortion pedals.
Comes in an all‑metal, mini stompbox pedal design that takes a minimum of space on your pedal board.
In addition to its gig‑friendly construction, its true bypass circuit design ensures that it is musically there when you want it, and not there when you don't

What does it to? Aby point if you alreasy have distortion in your amp? I have a pretty good tube amp
It's a different type of distortion. Each type has a distinct sound. If I'm remembering correctly, fuzz is one of the first types of pedals that were developed in the 60s. You get that Hendrix/Cream sound with fuzz.

Overdrive, distortion and fuzz are all pretty distinctively different tones. There are distinctively different tones within each of those drive types as well. Fuzzes are typically a fairly primative circuit with a raunchy tone (in a good way). The drive channel in your tube amp likely has more gain stages, making the tone and dynamics smoother.
