Actually had these for the first time this week. I was expecting just the elote spice flavoring, but they actually taste like corn too. Once I got used to almonds that tasted like corn I kept eating them though.
I love me some Blue Diamond almonds, especially Wasabi and the Habanero BBQ. I'll definitely give these a try. Thank you.

Walmart appears to have most of these and other flavors at $2.98, the same price Amazon lists for no subscription.

I'm looking at my can of Ghost Pepper right now and it's 6% of my daily value per serving. 36% for the entire can. Not exactly heart busting here...

For spice sure but I was not a fan of the flavor at all. My favorite is still the Ghost overall.

Man those are the best impulse buys. You forget about them and then boom, they just appear on your doorstep one day and it's like christmas morning.

Has anyone tried making your own? I got a big bag of almonds at Costco, my gf made them into honey roasted (found a recipe online, there's tons of different almond recipes online) and IMO they are WAY better than store-bought and much cheaper per pound, too (this is SD after all, saving money is why I'm here).

Wondering if anyone else has tried a roll-your-own approach to almonds, and if so what recipes did you try? We're going to make some keto almond brittle and vanilla cinnamon ones next.

I like hot, spicy food but that Ghost Pepper is stupid hot. I usually put more than one/two almonds in my mouth (usually handful) and this is extremely hot stuff. Beware!

i dont like super spicy & love these. you can mix w/ other unsalted nuts or dried fruit to 'dilute' the heat.

I love hot and I thought I could handle anything. I tried some "extreme spicy" stuff last time and I ended up with a few hundreds dollars of medical bills after insurance. Now I just stay away with anything with "extreme".

I got the reaper and the ghost pepper cans a few weeks ago. The reaper is almost empty but the ghost has been gone a d replaced multiple times. In general, for me, reaper just doesn't taste better than ghost pepper in a lot of similar foods like this. Purely subjective of course, but I am glad to see these flavor options available.

It is noted that reaper is hotter than ghost, for sure.

Almonds are very high in oxalates, which are tiny crystals that accumulate in your body, which will lead to kidney stones. They also require more water to grow than does raising cattle/beef.
Very true. Now let's add the footnotes:

Quote :
There are things you can do to help keep lower high oxalate levels and lessen the problems they can cause:
  • Balance high-oxalate foods with other fruits and vegetables to help ensure good health.
  • Drink enough water to help your body flush out excess oxalates.
  • Get the recommended amount of calcium, which binds to oxalates during digestion.
  • Limit sodium and sugar intake, which may contribute to kidney stones at high levels.
  • Get the recommended amount of vitamin C. Too much can increase oxalic acid production in your body.
  • Cook high-oxalate vegetables to lower their oxalate content. Boiling works especially well for this.

Thai chili has no taste. Spicy pickle is good. Korean BBQ is good too
