    I has this fridge in the garage and the freezer doesn't work properly if it gets cold. The freezer only kicks in when the refrigerator kicks in. When it's cold in the garage, the refrigerator doesn't need to run. So the freezer doesn't run. The freezer temperature gets fairly close to the refrigerator temperature. If you don't use the freezer, it will work fine in the garage.

    I had this fridge in the garage. The refrigerator works but the freezer doesn't work when the garage gets cold (below 40 degrees). When the garage gets cold, the refrigerator doesn't need to turn on as frequently. If the refrigerator doesn't kick on, the freezer doesn't kick on. So, when it gets cold, the temperature in the refrigerator is 37degrees but the temperature in the freezer moves to around 25-30 degrees.

    If you live in an area that doesn't get cold, or if your garage is heated, it will work. I ended up moving it inside.
