LG has a 10yr warranty (5 for Dyson) and you don't have to hold down trigger while using. These were two big things for me.

Thanks, I was considering the Dyson with the green laser light, but too, find having to hold down button a pain
The v12 detect slim does not have a trigger that you have to hold. Just an on/off button. I think it's the only model like that.
