Just looking at the Zephyr Carbon Spinning Reel, it looks like it's $12 cheaper on Amazon even with KastKing's 50% off (that's if I'm looking at the same reel)

I added the Zephyr Carbon to the cart and after discount it came to $45.62 for the 3000 model.

Have to add the reel to the Cart to see savings. $83.99 Zephyr Carbon Spinning reel turns into $42 in the cart. The one I saw on Amazon was $71 - 20% = $57.

This is a pretty good deal.

Not on sale, but that new mega jaws elite series spinning reel looks really nice.
Anyone have experience with it? I'm looking for a higher end spinning reel. Will probably go with a Daiwa, but this KK reel has me tempted. I have other KK products that I've been happy with.
If you have ever kept eye on kastking you know this is always the normal price on Amazon. Kastking reel is what made in China actually faces when they are upgrading their industry. The reel(I own more than 20 of them) are made of good quality material with very poor paint making the metal looks like plastic and heavy and the finish is very basic that does not match any reel at the same price. However, they do use real metal and have very good drag.
Saw some one asked about sharky. Kastking Sharky is never a competitor of battle III if you ever put them both on a table. I own both and the battle 3 took a lot of abuse with sand and salt in it everywhere. KK Sharky is very poorly painted and have very rough finish. The handle is even worse. But I do see they put good material there with no doubt.
I own 15 of the kk summer that I bought for $15 each. They are my disposable reel for wade fishing.

I've had bad experience with krap king... mind you I salt water fish. And I had the sharky III 8000. It was a deal they had on amazon. Used it once, worked great. Then the drag was stuck. I could not adjust it. Took it apart. And there were aluminum shavings inside the spool... no quality control... go with the bg all the way.
I've tried a bunch of their accessories like pliers, line, rod sleeves and lure covers but I'm still hesitant to use their rods and reels. I do have an ice rod of theirs in my cart so let's see if I check out.

I replaced my 3 penn battle II's with them and they're much better. I have 5 of them.
Gave one to my father in law to try and he's a huge shimano snob($200+ per reel) and even he admitted it's good.
