I believe this is my first post. Any tips are welcome!
The mainly relevant information for this deal, also a dealbreaker, is that it is actually the ad-supported worst tier, which is especially awful at Peacock. That fact needs to be in the topic title.
Peacock was offering $0.99 per month (12 month plan) during the World Cup.

This deal is awesome with Amex Platinum if you want BOTH Peacock and Hulu with no ads. Normally Hulu/Peacock ad-free costs $25 a month for both and with Amex $20 monthly streaming credit you end up paying $60 a year since it's an extra $5/mo. But you can save another $45 using the coupon code here.

Select the $10/mo Peacock plan with no ads and add the coupon code in this thread. You will get charged $30 (discounted yearly rate with ads) plus an additional $5 (which is charged monthly) for no ads. $20 of the initial $35 charge is then covered by Amex Platinum monthly streaming credit. So you pay $15.

Then sign up for a new Hulu ad-free account for $15/mo. First month is free and it starts charging Amex Platinum $15 in a month. So in each subsequent month Hulu ad-free ($15) and Peacock ad free ($5) are $20 total which is then covered by the Amex Platinum credit. Ends up being a $45 savings since you pay only $15 for the year for both instead of $60.

So... "1 year of especially awful Peacock for $29.99"?

We are really enjoying Peacock. Many of the shows/movies, only show 1 commercial at the beginning and that's it. We love the variety of things to watch.

And when both sexes are present, they are called peafowls. The more you know.

Yes we know it's the ad account but 29 dollars seems like a good deal especially with Royal Rumble and Wrestlemania upcoming.
I'm just seeing this now, Feb 2, and the deal has expired, it seems. But, back in September, I got a year of this same tier, for $20, fwiw.

I like peacock for sports...especially Olympics and track and alpine ski racing, which now only has a few events. So, I had to pay $9 a month for a couple months of live coverage of all World Cup and World Champ skiing events..... I'll cancel at the end of this month or next as the season ends early March.

Ads.

Ads everywhere.

Peacock is such a terrible service -- a bad user interface coupled with not much worthwhile content. And then the ads. Holy crap does Peacock love to shove ads into your face again and again and again and again.

Never again!

I appreciate the posting but I would never pay for it. I have Comcast internet and get Peacock for free but rarely ever use it. It's probably the worst of all the streaming services.

I signed up for their service to watch the dateline about idaho murders. Show selection seems pretty poor, IMO. Only thing really good is maybe parks and rec or the office. But I've seen them so many times already

Edit: the ads suck
